best book i have on mikrotik ........ amazing
Surprised to see MPLS and BGP section for a book which was said to be for beginners! Simply not true - very useful for everyone who is not hardcore user.
Good book for learning about RouterOS.
Had the previous version of the book. version has no Table of Contents, index has no links to pages, so you have to guess the location you want to go to. For reference manuals, unless there is a usable index with links to pages, it's pretty much useless.
The book contains a lot of good technical information about RouterOS. The author bio would lead you to think it was written by an American author. It is obviously written by someone that has English as a second language. I don't think I have ever read a book that had as many grammatical errors. The publisher should pay a good editor to clean up the grammar.

-"Table of contents not available for this title" when it HAS one but you can't jump to it easily without first bookmarking it
Overall, I'd get the competition first, then fill in any blanks with this.
The book is okay, I guess. I did learn some things, but the organization is very disjointed, and the proofreading appears to have been done by a three-yr-old. The author owes me a free copy of any version of this book that finally has had some contact with an editor who speaks English as his/her first language.
